Text of Review and Transitional Towards 2016 Agreement is published

The text of the first formal review of the National Social Partnership Agreement, Towards 2016 has now been published.  This review started in February and concluded in September 2008. During that period there were dramatic changes in the economic and fiscal context in which the review was taking place.

2003, July 18th: Final draft of the new EU Treaty presented to the Italian Presidency of the EU by the Convention on the Future of Europe.

1. The Union's aim is to promote peace, its values and the well-being of its peoples. 
2. The Union shall offer its citizens an area of freedom, security and justice without internal 
frontiers, and a single market where competition is free and undistorted.
